Students appearing for the Class 10 board exams are found to practice different studying patterns. However, those who have scored above 95% in this exam exhibit a few common points. Getting tips and ncert solutions for class 10 maths from the expert teachers can help you achieve 100% marks in this tough, competitive exam.

Practice 10-year CBSE questions and sample papers

It is an absolute must for all students eager to score 100% on the board exam. Solving 10-year questions will allow you to know the type of questions that are asked by the board. In addition, CBSE sample papers increase your accuracy and speed. You will also be able to attempt all the questions within the stipulated time frame due to previous practice.

Prepare a suitable study timetable

Before starting your preparation, you will be required to create a timetable. This daily timetable should determine which subjects are to be studied at which time and the duration. You should also have what you should do in-between your studies like sleeping, eating, coaching classes, tuitions, extra-curricular activities, and entertainment.

You should also take into account your travel time to school, tuition, your body clock, etc. Even study times should be set, especially when you are the most active and alert. Otherwise, if you are lethargic or feel sleepy, forcing yourself to study will not help much but only be a sheer waste of time, energy, and confidence.

Be amongst people who are confident and supportive

Since you are told to be afraid of boards, hence, you started to develop a fear about it. You get more fearful as you find your friends ahead in preparation and seem to know all the answers much more than you know.

Some friends might sound negative or passive in their approach towards studies or fear the exam because they are not just interested in studying. Try to avoid this group as they will only demotivate you. Rather be among those who are confident and help motivate you in every possible manner.

Memorize in the Morning Hours

A few subjects require to be memorized thoroughly. Although there is nothing like the best time for studying, it is better to learn such topics early in the morning. So it is when you have woken up refreshed and consumed a nutritious breakfast.

You will be able to memorize much better during this time. Moreover, your brain stays alert and will easily absorb formulas, dates, places, and names. Your brain starts to process information much better during the afternoon hours. It can effortlessly make connections with what you have learnt during the morning hours. Learn math regularly.

It is an important point and should not be skipped. It would help if you made it a point to practice different chapters from math for about 2 to 3 hours every day. This way, you can retain all crucial information and formulas, thus imbibing self-confidence.

Solve NCERT 100%

You can get solved NCERT questions from the top coaching centers like Cuemath for all classes. The questions present in the NCERT are quite similar to that of what you get in the board exams. Remember, all questions asked in the CBSE board exams are from NCERT-based topics only.

Stick to desired word limits

Write about 15 words or 1to 2 lines for all 1-mark questions.

You can write around 40 words or 2 to 3 lines for 2-mark questions.

Write in points, minimum 5 to 8 points for 5-mark questions. However, do give relevant introductions before writing points.

Final Thoughts:

It is important to know how to write legibly on the answer script provided by the board during the exam. It should be presentable and neat. Otherwise, you lose precious marks.

Therefore, getting to know the tips from the expert teachers and solving NCERT papers can help you achieve 100% marks in the CBSE board exam.
